Project ALMA is a story-driven action game developed by Brandoville Studio. Set in a dystopian future ravaged by war, players take on the role of a mother who, after losing her child in a brutal conflict, embarks on a path of vengeance. Equipped with cutting-edge combat armor and driven by powerful emotions, she must battle through enemy forces, uncover hidden truths, and ultimately fight to end the war that took everything from her. ALMA blends emotional storytelling with cinematic visuals and intense action gameplay.
ALMA is an original game developed by Brandoville Studio. On the art side, the studio produced a cinematic game trailer. Here are my responsibilities and roles in this project

ANIMATIC
ANIMATIC
In this project, I combined Blender and Krita to create a detailed animatic. Blender was used to build the 3D layout for accurate camera angles and background perspectives, allowing a more dynamic and cinematic approach. Once the layout was ready, I continued with hand-drawn frames in Krita, focusing on expressive poses and storytelling flow. This workflow helped streamline the process while maintaining an organic, artistic touch.

For the storyboard of Project ALMA, I focused on a cinematic approach, drawing inspiration from Ghost in the Shell, Iron Man, and video games like Warhammer and Anthem. The goal was to create a visual narrative that emphasized dynamic compositions, immersive action shots, and strong emotional beats. Each shot was carefully planned to reflect the tone of a hightech, futuristic world while supporting the story of a mother’s vengeance in a wartorn environment.
COLOR SCRIPT

In the early stages of the color script development, I established a futuristic color palette centered around complementary tones to create contrast and visual interest. The story begins with a cold and desaturated color tone, reflecting a somber and emotionless atmosphere. As the narrative progresses, the palette gradually shifts into dramatic reds and warm hues, symbolizing the emotional intensity, rising conflict, and the protagonist’s transformation.
COLOR SCRIPT Ver. 2

This final color script was created after several revisions to enhance the cinematic quality of the visuals. At this stage, the color adjustments were made based on the lighting and render settings provided by the LRC (Lighting, Rendering, and Compositing) team. I refined and edited the frames directly to align with the intended mood, atmosphere, and storytelling rhythm, ensuring the final look matches the visual direction of the project.
